We Are Well Able (2)
TOPIC: WE ARE WELL ABLE (2)
READ NUMBERS 14:1-45
MEMORISE: Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it." (Numbers 13:30)
Message
Every godly covenant is a product of faith, and will find fulfilment only in a provoking realm of faith. It is sad that it was easy for the Israelites to give in to fear at the expense of their lives and inheritance. Imagine how the people's countenance fell as they heard the negative report of deformed leaders amidst them (Num 14:1-5). Because of the fear of giants, their hearts sunk and they began to grumble, complain and weep (13:33). These spies were defeated before the actual battle when they denied faith and its power to embrace the grasshopper mentality - reprobate minds! You may not receive what you cannot perceive through the spiritual eyes of faith (cf. 2 Tim 1:7).
There are countless glorious destinies without capable eyes and mind of faith to capture it. No wonder life transforming ideas slip out of many hands because they can't see opportunities in them.
Have you also arrived somewhere in your life that you say "No! I am not able to go up against the people; for they ate stronger than we?" (v. 31). You do have an endless capacity to withstand difficulties, with your total reliance on God's strength, because a covenant-prophecy has gone ahead of you long before you came. You only need to search out the road map through and in Christ Jesus to fulfill your destiny. You are well ABLE to do a things through Christ who strengthens you! (Php 4:13)
Remember: all is about God who shows mercy.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. I refuse to be cowed by the circumstances of life, in Jesus' name.
2. Lord, open my eyes to see the opportunities You hide in every circumstance I go through.
3. Pray that every barren womb among the people of God be unconditionally open, in Jesus' name.
BEFORE YOU SLEEP:
JESUS AND SINNERS.
Jesus loves sinners, but hate the sins in them.
Sinners can come to Him as they are but cannot remain as they are.
Narrow is the way that leads to Eternal life, you need to drop your weight(sins) if you must pass through that way.
Christians!!! Stop accommodating what the Bible does not. You can't be more tolerant than the Holy Ghost. If it is sin call it SIN!
