BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 6:6-8
6.Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7.Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8.Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 12:24 " The hand of the diligent shall be bear rule: but the slotful shall be under tribute"

LESSON AIM: To teach them the importance of diligence.

CENTRAL TRUTH: Diligence will give you dominion and you will rule over many.

INTRODUCTION: Diligence is........... we live in a microwave world where everything is being done in the quickest way. Even many people want the shortest cut to success. It is good to achieve much with little sucesss with God's help.
But we must always remember that there is a place of diligence in life's journey.

STUDY GUIDE
To be diligent is to :
D- Be Dutiful
I- Industrious
L- Labour
I- Intentness
G- Gainful
E- Effort
N- Not lazy
C- Carefulness
E- Earnestness
1.*The hand of the diligent*: Our hands is a representation of what we do. Our jobs,daily tasks, responsibilities etc. Prov. 10:4.
2.*Shall bear rule*: rule here means dominion, leadership.
*But the slothful*: A slothful person is a lazy person.
*Shall be under tribute*:i.e put to forced labour, become a slave., oppressed, poor.
DISCUSSION: Discuss these verses :- Prov.12:27; 13:4; 21:5; 2 Chronic.24:13.

INVITATION: Learn from the ants in our Bible Text and be diligent. Surrender you life to Jesus.

CONCLUSION: There is no doubt that dominion and diligence are very related. No one will commit any good thing into the hands of a lazy person. Prov.22:29 asks a question. It says *"do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? he will stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men"*

TOPIC: OBSTACLES TO ETERNITY There are obstacles of Satan, sin, self, and the world that we must overcome, if the vision of making heaven wouldn't be a miracle. Are you ready?
