Jesus Christ: The Difference

TOPIC: JESUS CHRIST: THE DIFFERENCE

READ ROMANS 10:1-12

MEMORISE: Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (Rom 10:4)

Message
Evolution is absolutely unbiblical, no matter how philosophically logical it may sound. Apes and man are quite different from each other, though they have some slightly similar features. Some other lower creatures also share some characteristics with man, yet they haven’t and can’t become human. The Bible’s account of man’s creation is the only reasonably accurate one.
Every human being, except Adam and Eve, who were made directly by God and Jesus Christ who came as God in man, come into being by the conjugation of a mature man and a mature woman. As we grow in all dimensions, we crave for survival; we also have countless feelings – hunger, thirst, satisfaction/dissatisfaction, love and being loved, sadness and joy, etc.
However, All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God – we all think evil and act evil, selfish and tribal. There is no difference between the Jews and the Gentiles. We are all guilty, condemned and good for execution (Rom 2:8). We are incapable of helping ourselves from this terrible condition. We all need a deliverer, a savior; and the savior cannot be from amongst us, because of the contamination sin had brought upon, and in us. He has to be from outside this world.
Only Jesus came from outside the world. His purpose: I have come that they may have life, and have it in full. (John 10:10). Only Jesus Christ is capable to rescue the perishing from hell and justify us freely by His grace (Rom 3:24). In Him is life. He is our necessary life. He is the difference. Accept His Lordship NOW and have life in abundance IN Him.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, make the needed difference in my life.
2. Pray that the purpose, programmes and projects of our political and traditional leaders will conform with the standards of the King of kings.
3. Pray that the gospel of our Lord Jesus will take its rightful place in our nation and the world at large.
