The Living Water

THE LIVING WATER
Read John 7:37-44
Memorize: On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink" (John 7:37).
Jesus, while on earth, made this open visitation on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacle that year, come to me and drink. Usually, that is the day the High Priest comes around to sprinkle water on all celebrants. Jesus was more concerned about the "inner" than the "outer".
For all who are spiritually thirsty, Jesus the living water beckons: believe, come and drink. It is an invaluable privilege to quench one's immediate and ultimate water will flow from within him (cf. Joel 2:8; John 7:39).
In this sense, thirst is a strong desire for something. What is it you desire, physically, spiritually, academically, vocationally, etc.? Jesus is the only One who can quench your thirst.
What is your experience like since you accepted Jesus Christ into your life. Are you still struggling with sin, or finding it hard to stay glued to your faith in Jesus alone without seeking help from antichrists out there? You need the Holy Spirit, who can strengthen your faith and lighten your life all around.
Position yourself to receive Him today. Just crave His infilling from today. You will see Him flow through you, declaring peace to all storms, giving you direction, guidance and courage for life and godliness.
For inner fortification in preparation for outer manifestation, drink the water of life, be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord, satisfy me with Your living Water, in Jesus' name.
2. Ask God to remember His purpose for instituting marriage and the family, and bring it to fruition in every family setting.
3. Help the Church to become more concerned about being filled with His gifts and fruit.
