The Healer Is Here!

Read John 5:1-15 Memorize: When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" (John 5:5). The man in John 5:1ff was identified with the age-long sickness in his life, instead of his name. It is likely you have a similar experience. You have good news: The great Physician is here now! The man in our text today had lost all hope. He had resigned to the poolside at Bethsaida, waiting for when he would out move the others to get to the troubled pool in the year. He wasn't even sensitive enough when the Healer he had been waiting for came visiting him at the pool, because he had adapted to his painful condition. The omniscient Jesus knew that the man was helpless and had need of a Saviour. He required no effort from the man, not even his faith. He just gave him the grace he needed for his healing. Now you know that Christ is mindful of you and your situation. He is aware of your pains to details, and His grace is locating you right where you are now, for your healng/deliverance from those unpalatable situations. Allow Him work on you now. Jesus is unstoppable. Listen as He is speaking to you and as He is commanding your bonds to be off your life. Rise and possess your possessions. Prayer Points: 1. Lord, I surrender to You; work on my situations now, unto Your glory. 2. Ask God to destroy the spirit of tyranny and self-will among our rulers in government. 3. Pary that the Lord God will help our children become more obedient to God, parents and to all constituted authorities.
