READ NUMBERS 13:23-33
MEMORISE: If the LORD is pleased with us, He will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. (Numbers 14:8)
Message
A common adage says, "Man is the architect of his own fortune." After having spoken, God demanded that the Israelites possess the Promised Land without delay. May you never miss your opportunity for breakthroughs, in Jesus' name.
Imagine yourself as one of those sent to spy the Promised Land of Canaan (13:1). Put yourself in the shoes of the 12 spies. What would have been your reaction to the 4Gs that confronted them - grapes, giants, grasshoppers and God?
God would not have chosen to play games with man, especially the seed of Abraham His friend (Isaiah 41:8). He never lies. Neither does He joke. He couldn't have told them to spy and take possession of the land when He knew He wouldn't give it to them. Never! Why then did these people who inherited the Abrahamic covenant fail to enter into their earthly rest in time?
Most of them, reacted negatively to the 4Gs. How? They saw the grapes of the land, the giants living there, but debased themselves as grasshoppers, shamefully looking away from the unconquerable God who ordered the search and promised its possession.
How do you see the 4Gs in your life? And God said to Jeremiah, "Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them (Jer 1:17). Halleluiah! Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it" (Num 13:30). That is faith! Yes, you are well able too. Honour God with your faith and get the honour of God as He gives fulfilment.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Thank You Lord for the gift of faith, by which all things are possible.
2. By faith, I receive all that God has for me, in Jesus' name.
3. Lord, let heaven be opened upon every believer believing You for the fruit of the womb, in Jesus' name.
